Foreman - Crushing

Main role : The foreman’s role is to organize and coordinate all the work to be fulfilled. He ensures that all work is performed safely and in line with the customer and company’s expectations. :

  • Be an OHS leader;
  • Makes sure the activities are carried out safely;
  • Makes sure to respect the health and safety procedures, rules and standards;
  • Evaluate, plan and supervise the work to be completed;
  • Asses priorities and deligates the work;
  • Manage the needs and requests of your team;
  • Works in collaboration with human resources with regards to disciplinary notices, trainings, and manpower;
  • Responds to customer’s various requests;
  • Responds to all operational issues;
  • Ensures the monitoring and compliance of equipment repairs;
  • Makes sure to respect, comply and apply the various company policies;
  • Support the integration of various management systems, programs and adopted policies;
  • Perform quality control;
  • Perform any other tasks requested by the superior.

Experience and training :

Main duties:

Under the supervision of the Road Supervisor, you will have to operate haul truck driver in a safe way to transport ore to the processing plant. In more detail, you will have to:

  • Pay attention to the road conditions and the loading and unloading sites and inform the supervisor;
  • Perform equipment check rounds;
  • Actively participate in the development of truck driving procedures;
  • Deliver ore safely from one site to another;
  • Drive a 6X6 planetary truck equipped with a 150 ton Bi-Train.


  • 10 years’ experience in truck driving with Bi-Train;
  • Class A / Class 1 driver’s license, or equivalent (semi-trailer);
  • Good adaptability in environments with changing conditions;
  • Autonomy;
  • Good interpersonal and teamwork skills;
  • Excellent proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Long Haul Truck Operator

Principal duties: Under the supervision of the Road Supervisor, you will be responsible to operate the long haul truck in a safe manner to transport material from the Whale Tail satellite pit to Meadowbank. You will have to :

  • Pay attention and forward to Supervisor any information regarding road conditions and loading/unloading areas
  • Perform a walk around inspection of your equipment and report every noncompliance;
  • Actively participate in the development of driving procedures for long haul truck driving;
  • Actively participate in the continuous improvement of this new strategic mining activity


  • 10 years of recent experience with heavy long hauling and/or logging transportation;
  • Driver’s License Class A, Class 1, or equivalent (tractor trailer);
  • Adaptability to ever changing environment and challenge;
  • Ability to work autonomously;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team;
  • Strong ability to effectively communicate in English (Oral and written).

Heavy equipment operators


  • Operate excavators and dozers on a mining site
